Rowing Service - Noticeboard

Welcome to the new-look Rowing Service Noticeboard

The Rowing Service notices are now running under a new system.

To submit a posting, you now need to do one of two things:

Either take out an account (Ł30 for a year or Ł2 for a week), via a secure online system.
Note that a one-week account does not limit your ad(s) to one week - they can stay up on the board as long as you want. You just lose the user-enabled features such as online editing and post removal, after the first week. All ads posted within the subscription period remain valid and visible even after the account expires, and you can email RQ to have them removed or changed at a later date.

A posting account entitles you to unlimited posts, and their editing. Clubs may create a club posting account, and circulate members with the details. Cheques may be accepted for registration instead of online payment, but it will take several working days to set up.
Or request a free post. Free posts are allowed for most non-profit-making categories but do not allow later editing. Free posts are not granted for items for sale, unless they are being given away.

Scam alert - a spammer called John Hilbert has been emailing people selling items on this page - he is a fraudster running a traditional money-back scam. I have updated the Scams and spams advice page to include his entire email. Note that he is getting round the email address protection I run by typing in the addresses himself, which we can't stop. Just ignore any email you receive from him and don't worry about it. If you don't reply, there is nothing he can do. His current address is johnziom@yahoo.co.uk but this might change.
